Guest guest
PF shows up on ct scans. Lung biopsy done almost 4 yrs ago when i was dx'd with interstitial lung disease because dr did not know what was causing my sats to be so low. He thought maybe from my years of smoking then 2 yrs later he thinks infiltrates from gerd getting into lungs causing it. All I know is that the last 2 yrs the er dr'shave been calling it PF. Guest guest
Cathy ... I wasn't doubting you have PF just curious as to how it was found...we all have a different story. Mine was first discovered by a chest x-ray that "didn't look right"... I then had appt. w/ specialist but the same day (as x-ray) I came home and went online to see what "Possibly PF" was. YE gADS! When I read about it and also it was FATAL I gasped so hard my husband came running wanting to know what was the matter with me...I said, "My God, I'm going to DIE!" That was not a good way to find out. That was more than 2 years ago and I've been fairly stable since. Have noticed I need more O2 and especially w/exertion. Dr. Rx O2 at night too. We'll just hang in there together! MamaSher, age 70. IPF 3-06, OR. NasturtiumsDon't fret about tomorrow, God is already there! Sher- History on me PF shows up on ct scans.
