Guest guest
that's so wierd!!!! why would they allow an empty bottle but not a bottle of water? was someone smoking other then cigs when they wrote the rules? lol seriously though, why is that? ---------- Because what the terrorists had in their plan LOOKED like water but was part of the building of the explosives they would put together on the plane. This way, the liquid is emptied, the bottle goes on the plane, and the stewardess can fill it with what it known to be water and nothing else. They can hide the explosive stuff in anything, which is why toothpaste and creams, etc. were also banned. It's a real safety thing. ________________________________________________________________________ Check out the new AOL. Guest guest
Mike, Though TSA has certain requirements, I noticed that some airports are taking it further than others. Washington Reagan National would not allow any liquids of any kind on my departure to Vegas. Las Vegas allowed liquids as long as it was travel size and fit into a clear zip lock baggy, but required any drinks to be disposed of to include water, coffee, and sodas. When a person had their liquids packaged this way, they were still pulled aside for investigation. I suppose I could request a doctors note the next time, but its seems like more trouble than its worth.
