Hi all, sorry I have been a little AWOL lately, been pretty busy and

had a lot going on. As for the job, it's amazing! I love love love

it. the people I work with are wonderful. No nurses " eating their

young " here. I feel like I'm really doing something good... helping

veterans. I have the best patients in the world, IMHO! =)

I was scared when my step mom (aka: real mom) died because I'd only

been working there 7 weeks, but they were so supportive, kind &

understanding about the whole thing. They weren't mad that I had to

go out of town & take time off, they were so great. And came back to

lots of hugs, smiles, encouragement and a nice sympathy card (which

unfortunately made me cry at work, but hey.... then I did again

another day because I kept having patients who had experienced recient

deaths in thier lives).

BUt ty for thinking of me guys. Work really is great. I can see

myself at this job for a very long time. ly, I'm not sure I want

to do anything else. Still want to further my education, but I could

stay with this place forever as far as I am concerned.
