need help after 6 ms in healmet

Hi.

My son is almost 1 year old (tomorrow is his birthday). He is wearing

his healmet since March 3. He started with a medium 3-4 plagio. His

head was flat on his right side and at the back was bulged alot in the

left side. Now it's almost perfect .

But in front at his forehead he still has bulged on the right side.

It's much better than how it was but still pretty viewable.

His doctor from Free Bed, Corazza, is sick and we have

appoitment with Rex. On wednesday. Since yesterday I took of his

healmet beause I noticed near his right eye has a puffiness. He was

trying to get his healmet out and it was obvious something was wrong

and when I took it out I saw that puffed up area near his eye.

We are going on Monday at his 1 year check-up. We are going to see if

It's from healmet or not.

How long do you think it will take him to fix that bulge at his

forehead? Will he ever?

I doubt at this point that his eye puffiness has to do with the

band, it might be unrelated. At his age, his forehead may or not

get better. Is there plenty of room in the front quadrant for his

non-bossed forehead area to grow?

Our daughter has worn her helmet since March, too! She has also

seen great correction. But, the last to change was the forehead. I

think the ortho was less concerned about this compared to the head

shape. She actually said we could be done 6 weeks ago, but I wanted

to try to get the bossing taken care of. So, she only adjusted the

front of the helmet on the smaller side, and we have seen good

change lately.

I say to keep on going if you can still get correction. He is still

growing (even if it is slower) and there should continue to be

change. Do you like your ortho? Make sure to voice your concerns

and wishes for his head. I had to kind of press to get ours to

shape the forehead. Look carefully at the scans to see if you can

show the ortho exactly what you are talking about.

Matt is a cute boy and looks like he enjoyed his cake. I really

can't see the forehead problem in the pictures, but that doesn't
