Guest guest
Our church was without a pastor for about a year. The new one just started about a month ago, and boy, he's starting with a bang! He was talking yesterday about how adult children should love and respect and care for our parents as they get older, and I thought, Oh no! Here we go! But then, to wrap things up, he said, " I know some of you don't have loving, godly parents, and I want to let you know right now that you can break the cycle. " And he ended the sermon with that encouragement and affirmation. Love it! :-)
Guest guest
It makes me so glad when people acknowledge that not all parents are loving, kind, or even sane. Sounds like you have a good one On Mon, May 14, 2012 at 3:43 AM, Alice Spiedon strugglingmom2@...>wrote: > ** > > > Our church was without a pastor for about a year.
