Guest guest
Too often I get upset with myself when I react to my nada's nonsense. I think: why can't I be stronger? Why can't I consider the source and ignore her? Today my husband got a newsletter via email from his hospice team leader. He's a hospice volunteer and takes care of folks at the end of their lives. Anyway, this quote was in there and I really liked it. Thought I would share it with you all as well. THOUGHT FOR THE MONTH: " Have patience with all things but first with yourself. Never confuse your mistakes with your value as a human being. You're a perfectly valuable, creative, worthwhile person simply because you exist. And no amount of triumphs or tribulations can ever change that. Unconditional self-acceptance is the core of a peaceful mind. Guest guest
This is really applicable to me right now...thank you I've been having trouble with the mistakes = detrimental to personal value thoughts lately. I should write this down and post it at my computer. > ** > > > Too often I get upset with myself when I react to my nada's nonsense. I > think: why can't I be stronger?
