BPD / NPD / OCPD and Meds???

Hi All!

Just a quick question. My Nada falls somewhere on the spectrum above.

When I did the BPD criteria in SWOE she hit most of them.

She has been on and off Cymbalta for the last few months.

PCP keeps putting her on it and she takes it for a month or two, goes off

(she says b/c of the cost), stays off a few months, PHP puts her back on,

etc.

The thing that is confusing me is that she is almost completely tolerable on

the stuff. It really does help her!

It is so obvious I can tell when she's on and when she's off.

When on, No raging, no jealous accusations and / or snipes, etc.

I thought these types of issues did not respond to meds?

Does anybody have any light to spread on this?

Could she have something else that looks like BPD/NPD/OCPD?

I am half wondering now if she is just depressed and has fleas from her FOO.

Not that it all matters much, she is still who she is and a diagnosis

doesn't really matter but I am now just confused.
