Thanks Annie,

I think everyone on this board must have a resilient core. These things that

happened to us are often behind closed doors so nobody sees and nobody can act.

Nadas are so adept at the two-face behaviour; one face to the outer world (in my

nada's case it was waif) and another face for when nobody is looking (witch).

It's taught me to be less judgemental of people in general. When things look one

way on the surface it can be so, so different behind closed doors. There can be

many factors at play to which the outside observer is oblivious so I try to

remember my childhood when I see people struggling so I can offer compassion and

non-judgemental understanding.
