Guest guest
LOL You made my day. I needed a laugh. I've been trying to cope w/ nada's behavior, just choking it down like nasty medicine that's sure to kill me in time. So many days I've almost popped on just to complain but that doesn't help me much in the long run. A few highlights: Nada complained to my husband that I am too regimented, I always come over on the same days at the same time. It irritates her that I'm not more flexible. Shoot, how many times have I had to drop everything to drag her to ER and sit there? How about 4th of July when she called us after 10 pm in a panic over the fireworks telling us they were falling on her house and we went over? How many times have I cancelled things or given up day trips because of her needs? Yet she wants more? Tough! Yesterday I made phone calls for her, took her shopping, took her dog to the groomer, made up a sheet of notes to take to her doctor's appt. on Thursday, etc. Then today she calls and says she can't make out a check to pay one of her bills. So what am I supposed to do? Run over there and fill it out for her? Not today sister. This is my day. Next week she gets her eyes checked (again) because she swears she can't see and that's why she can't adjust her thermostat (how many phone calls have I had about that?) and can't pay her bills or take her medication. I'll be surprised if they find anything wrong. She just went in earlier this year and her eyes were fine but she insists on being checked again. Oh, and this hasn't been a bad couple weeks for me. This has been smooth sailing. Ha! > > ...for member posts.
