Guest guest
So, a while ago there was a discussion about the relative merits of the terms nada and fada. I had a lot of free time on my hands yesterday waiting on various things (drug testing for a new job, etc.) and was thinking I am not really fully comfortable with those terms either. One, because they still seem to require a " my " and the suggestion of a relationship and I don't feel any connection to the adults who were supposed to raise me at all. Also, they were not " zeros. " They were actively bad. They were not nothing: they were negatives. This brought me to thinking about new terms and Prince popped into my head--you know, the " musician formerly known as Prince. " And I thought about this: " People Who Were Supposed to Parent, " or PWWSP (pronounced pwisp). You could also say Male Who Was Supposed to Parent (MWWSP--pronounced mwisp) or Female Who Was Supposed to Parent (FWWSP--pronounced fwisp). I was trying to get it to sound as much like swiffer as possible... Just sharing, Ashana
