Calories Am trying to watch my calories but what does one do when one doesnt know what the calories are. I made a lentil / kiebassa sausage soup in the crockpot this morning. Learning to read labels is one of the best things that diabetes teaches you to do, do you have a diabetes educator who can explain these to you? I look for low fat, high fibre, low sugar on labels, and you would be surprized what qualifies. I have 30lbs to loose myself, and I know I have to exercise to do it, food alone isnt going to.
