Guest guest
, Maybe you don't have to eat a certain way, if you just include the right things for your immune system. I don't know what kind of diet you follow, but I know I thought I had to follow a no to low sugar diet in order to counteract yeast,a nd it turned out not to be so once I started using the probiotics drink Danactive. It didn't happen overnight - it took a few weeks, but it DID happen. I dont' have a problem now and believe me, I do NOT watch the sugar in my diet. I have ice cream every night, I sugar my daily coffee - etc. etc. etc.The underlying reasons for yeast can be a number of things - one of which is poorly balanced sex hormones, throwing off the vaginal and/or body pH. Do you have your hormones checked as well as your thyroid?Just an accounting of some of what has worked for me.blueeberri@... wrote: Hi,How long did you do the diet? What type of diet were you on, the unfortunate thing for some of is that the "diet" must become a way of life. Did you test positive at the doctors office for yeast? Have you had your hormones and thyroid checked?I got rid of my yeast and vulvar burning by being on the diet and nystatin oral powder, but after going off the diet and having a stressful time in my life it came back. I have to eat that way as a way of life. I havent been lately and I am suffering because of it. susanGet a sneak peek of the all-new AOL.com. Fussy? Opinionated? Impossible to please? Perfect.
