Guest guest
It is extremely unlikely that it would have any effect on your children. I cannot offhand think of ANY way that could happen. However it could transfer to your husband if you do not wash it off before he touches you. I question the fact that you are using it twice a day because it is usually applied once or twice a week by women on this list who have used it. If you get cramping each time you use it, you are probably using too much. I get foot cramps when I use it before bedtime so I do not use it. Guest guest
I use the Estrace topically and I also have two little boys. I use a pea sized dab about twice a 'week', though when I first started using it and realized it didn't cause 'me' any side effects, I used it everyday once a day for a few months. I've never had any spotting or cramping in any way. How much do you use when you apply it? I can't remember but do you use it topically or internally? Also, I always wash my panties separately from my family's clothes. I would think that keeping your hands washed and maybe washing your underwear separately would keep your little guys safe. I've used it for 2.5 years and my little boys are fine. Hope this helps... ~Chelle
Guest guest
Thanks so much for the info and reassurance you guys! I'll definitely start washing my underwear separately. It can't hurt! I am beginning to question the twice a day treatment now, though. I've only been on it a week and have only been doing it once a day even though she told me to do it twice. I wanted to wait and see the side effects before I started doing it twice a day. I use it topically and probably use two pea sized amounts. I tried using only one pea size amount but seemed to need more? Maybe with more practice I can get the amount down. I'll probably call my doctor about the cramping and dosage. She just doesn't have the best bed side manner but is the only doctor in town in this specialty. Ugh. I hate feeling so unsure about everything. Thanks again, though, for your help! > > I use the Estrace topically and I also have two little boys.
