Guest guest
<<Do you mean perform musically? I think it's so cool that not only do you play piano, but write songs, too. My older son (age 11) is taking Piano lessons...I think music is in his soul! When he hears music, he can't be still, gotta move...I love it! >> Yeah, I was a vocal performance major through 7+ years of college, sang since I was little at school and church, performed in leading roles in several musicals and operas, and I'm now a professor of music. But despite all my performing experience, I still get extreme stage fright almost every time for anything. I've had to remember Who I'm doing for every single instance or I almost can't go on stage. It can be a BIG stressor for me. But the WRITING...now that is therapeutic! That creative outlet is so good for people with chronic conditions like us. And for some, there is music therapy, too! I didn't go in to that field because I didn't think I could handle all the "down's" of that kind of job. I barely handle my OWN emotions, as it is! It sounds like you need to enroll your son in dance!! That's great that he loves it so much at such a young age. Keep encouraging him to work hard and dream big! God can do so many things will a willing heart. He instills those passions in us for a reason. You never know what the future holds. Becky Ready for the edge of your seat?
