Estrace cream newbie question

Well, this may seem like a dumb question, but here goes. . . I have

finally sought out treatment since I developed this condition 5 years

ago. My doctor put me on Estrace cream (apply externally twice a day)

to start out with. My question is this . . . is there any way this

cream could somehow transfer to my two small boys? I wash my hands

well, of course, but I wonder if trace amounts could still get on my

two little guys? And if so, could it cause adverse effects to their

developing bodies? My husband is a little worried it will transfer to

him but I worry more about my sons. Am I hopefully just being paranoid?

Also, I have noticed slight cramping each time I apply the cream. Is

that normal?
