That is so very true. It doesn't matter what you do or don't do,

they aren't going to be satisfied if they don't want to be

satisfied. When we react to their abusive behavior by being

" kind " it can send the message that it is okay to act that way,

which is not a kindness in the long run.

Meijken,

You are not ripping the family apart. You are atempting to live a healthy life.

Change is hard and it is often times hotly resisted by others. Stay strong and

keep a level head. =)
