Guest guest
It's just been within recent years (like about the last 3 to 5 I would say) that they have started to understand even more clearly how physical symptoms such as chronic pain (doesn't matter if it's in the pelvic area or not) can be a symptom of clinical depression. This is one reason why Cymbalta exists because it can help the depression by helping the physical symptoms. People who have clinical depression can have physical symptoms but then when the depression is treated whether by medication alone, or a combination of actual talk sessions with a counselor and medicine, or for some just talking to a counselor then the physical symptoms clear up too. Problem with this is that because there are still a number of doctors and even some in the general public that believe that every person who has chronic pain must be depressed so henceforth the phrase, " It's All in your Head " (meaning they don't want to believe that there is a physical cause for the pain). This is why this kind of topic is such a hot one on lists like this because sometimes it's not realized that there can be a physical problem causing the pain and depression isn't an issue until the struggle to find an answer comes in because they feel like no one is listening.
