Guest guest
Hi, I have dysesthetic vulvodynia. I have had it for 15 years. I don't know if that is what I started with, because I had surgery. I have been on elavil for most of those years. However, I was able to go off of the elavil for about 5 years. I recently had a flare in which I had intense itching. I am afraid of the physical therapy. My feeling is if the elavil controls it, leave it alone. Are their patients that have tryed the therapy and been made worse from it? Thank you, I am getting my emails on the yahoo site for now, since I am going on vacation soon, so if you answer me I may not answer for awhile. Thank you. Guest guest
Millie, The wrong therapy can certainly cause a flair up, especially if the tissue is very excitable. Elavile controls the nerve pain and the emotional components and if this eliminates the symptoms that is great. But, it may not completely address the true cause (s.) Do you have an idea of what caused the flair up??? What was going on in your life at the time of the flair up?? TKOPT goodman_millie wrote: Hi, I have dysesthetic vulvodynia.
