Hi,Tom I am leaving on vacation on Sunday, and will

check everyday, I am now getting my messages from the homepage.

15 years ago I had terrible burning, a doctor biopsyed me

and then I could not have sex, I went to a big specialist

and had the surgery and was re-sectioned. I then began

to have problems on the outside of the vulva, the perimeter,

which I read could happen. I was itching, I took the elavil

and was fine. About 5 years ago I was able to come off the

elavil but the top part of my vulva always would feel like

it was burning after a day of running around. Somewhat stress

related I know. Then all of the sudden I started with the flare

and had horrible itching. The elavil has taken care of that.

I did have stress in my life at the time of the flare up,

however, I have lichen planus in my mouth and it did not flare,

and it also responds to stress. By the way, I do not have

lichen planus in the vulva, it is vulvodynia. I go to a very

big specialist and have cleared that up. But I am menopausal

and the dryness began to get worse and I often felt like that

might have been the cause. I am a breast cancer survivor

and have to be careful with the amount of estrogen I use.

So big time hormone treatment is out for me. That is

a summary of what is going on with me. I do take vagifem

twice a week and once a week use a little estrace

where I was re-sectioned. I have been through alot

and really hate to mess with myself. Millie

Hi Millie,

Please forgive me but without the last message I sent you or your

previous posts to me I can't begin to know what it is you are asking me

to comment on.

I consult with so many people in a day I need reminders what you wanted

me to comment on.

IN the past, my and your posting train were part of the e-mail so if

you still have them please send them my way...

Thanks for understanding..
