Guest guest
Melinda....I am SO happy for you! I am doing a "happy dance" with you!!! *BIG CHEESY GRIN* Keep meditating on those scriptures...you're gonna get past this...we just have to keep believing! As for Clindamycin, I have no experience with it, sorry. But as far as the topical Estrace is concerned... I think ESTRACE is "the BOMB", in a good way...*smile*. It's so good for the vulvar skin and as long as you don't have any side effects, I say stay with it. It has by far helped my skin the most. My prayers are with you, thanks for updating... Hugs, Chelle
Guest guest
What if the Estrace counteracts the good effects of the Clindamycin. You should be asking the doc and/or the pharmacist if it is safe to use them both at the same time.spanishmiss430 wrote: Wow do I have a lot to say! I was very concerned about my visit today (re: the medical records issue from earlier this week)...so right before, I spent a lot of time reading my healing scriptures and meditating and just trying to relax. Anyway, I was surprised that Dr. Margesson seemed nice. Not like super friendly, but not horrible either. I think that's because, though...drumroll please....I am doing better!!! I could hardly believe it when they said it. But my color is good, my inflammation is down, and the q-tip didn't hurt anywhere! They said I still have a bit of vaginal inflammation and that's it! And that's with doing NO meds for the past two weeks other than emu oil! So, they want to put me on a once a week application of a compounded clindamycin cream, inserted vaginally - they are hypothesizing that my issues are stemming from vaginal irritation. So I am willing to give that a try, unless someone on here has heard horrible things about topical clindamycin. Anyway, it was really really nice to have a positive visit for once, and I have all you to thank for your support and prayers...you are like friends all over that I've never even met! I don't know what I would do without this site! So my questions tonight are:1. Anyone had a bad experience (or any experience) with topical clindamycin?2. Should I start using my compounded estrace again, even though they didn't tell me to? I just feel like that is something that doesn't have negative effects and can only be helpful. Thoughts? Thanks again SOOOO much y'all!!!! I thank God for you too!Melinda=) **IF REPLYING TO THIS POST, PLEASE REMOVE ORIGINAL POST, Thanks for your cooperation! *****
Guest guest
Melinda, I used clindamyacin for a suspected bv infection and not sure if it was that, but all my issues started after it.
