Guest guest
Hey , Did you go off of the diet? I have read that some people need to be on it all of the time. When I was on the candida diet I had NO burning or itching, when I went off of it, it returned. See what's new at AOL.com and Make AOL Your Homepage. Guest guest
Hi -- I never went back to my pre-candida way of eating, though I would say it was humanly impossible for me to continue on the diet I was following (no sugar, yeast, corn, gluten, dairy, processed or packaged food including cans, alcohol, fermented foods, etc). I lost way too much weight, it was scary. My ribs were literally popping out as were my hip bones. When I decided to loosen up a bit on that diet, I never went back to white and processed foods. I never drank soda. I didn't really drink beer or wine or sweet alcoholic drinks, only liquor with club soda. I always watched my sugar intake. Things like that. I did go back to that diet for a while when this new pain started. No such luck. Also I have not noticed any correlation between what I eat and my pain, whereas last time it was REALLY notieable. My intuition says that what I'm dealing with now is a whole new beast, and this beast does not have to do with eating sugar. > > Hey , > Did you go off of the diet? > > I have read that some people need to be on it all of the time. Guest guest
, I am on an anti-candida diet (when I don't cheat) and I too lost a bit too much weight! I am going to be trying to even out with lots of good oils - coconut oil, cultured butter, olive oil, and avocados, which are a very healthy raw fat. Also flaxseed/flaxseed oil and lots of organic proteins and fatty fish - I don't eat fish because of the mercury, but it is a good, mostly healthy way to get the weight back on.
