I have always taken the same pill. You are right and thank you for pointing out that my hormone test won't tell me much while still on the pill. I didn't even think of that. I am going off them soon since hubby got fixed in july I just need him to go get his test to make sure it all worked. Thanks for all the info.Hugs in MI , PLEASE make sure you keep a daily journal if you do come off the pill. That info could be so VALUABLE for you to understand if there is a hormonal component. Do you have any medical reason to be on the pill? Like Endo pain? If not, I would definitely consider giving it a try. Keep in mind too, that the pill can definitely cause depression and even make it harder to cope with all of this. You can always go back on it if you think you need to. My hubby had a vasectomy too when our youngest was 14 months. He did indeed go back for the sperm check and all is well! As a matter of fact, he did not want to go solo for the lab test... so, we had sex at home and I took the sample to the lab myself. That is what I call 'special delivery'. :0) Hugs, ~Chelle P.S. - The biggest risk of pregnancy is within the first few months after a vasectomy...so weigh this out carefully and MAKE sure you get his sample CHECKED.
