Update on my vestibulectomy

Hi everyone –

I just wanted

to send a post as I haven’t for awhile. I am going to take a final break

from the group and get on with my life and I wanted to tell everyone why. A month

ago I had pudendal nerve (PN) compression surgery done and a vestibulectomy. I

am very happy to say that they were both successful and I am doing great. It

will take awhile for the PN surgery to completely heal as nerves are very slow,

but everything else is now completely healed. I am very thankful the

vestibulectomy was so successful, as now I do not have any redness, itching,

burning or rawness. I was in really bad shape, but now I am able to wear clothes

(underwear, jeans, etc), and I can take a shower using regular soap. It has

been wonderful not to have to use any Lidocaine or other creams. So good luck

to everybody, and if you have any questions you can write me privately. Or if

anyone wants more information on vestibulectomy’s please don’t

hesitate to write me privately. Please also put me down in the files as a very

successful vestibulectomy, and don’t let anyone tell you it is not

possible. No horror stories, no awful painful healing – nothing except

wonderful results. And that’s the honest to God truth. I had a wonderful

doctor who obviously was very skilled. I am so glad I had it done!

nne,

I'm SOOOOO happy that it worked for you! You truly

are a huge success story because I know painful and

terrible things were for you. I hope people will

refer back to your posts as you provided a lot of

insight and hope. Best of luck with everything! I

will probably email you off the list periodically

since I'm seeing the same doc for PN. Keep in touch

and let me know how things go for you!
