Guest guest
Hi jg1126, Klonopin is not an anti-histamine. It is a benzodiaxepine.(?) It is used for anxiety. I am convinced that anxiety does not cause urticaria, but it can make it worse. When I have a high level of histamine, I also become very anxious, high histamine often causes anxiety, that " impending feeling of doom " . Klonopin calms us down, which helps us to cope with the hives better. I think your improvement is a combo of the low histamine diet, the steroid and the zyrtec. The klonopin does help, take what ever helps you feel better. Joan --- jg1126 jg1126@...> wrote: > I looked on RXlist but there was nothing mentioned > about it.
