After a cystoscopy that may well change! I had two, both done many years ago with no anesthesia, and while the first was relatively ok, the second (after my symptoms had progressed substantially) was one of the absolute worst pain experiences of my life -- and i've had a lot. Yes, it showed that i had some slight irritation of the lower part of my bladder, the trigone, but i already knew that. The pain was so hideous and took so long to subside that even hearing the word, ystoscopy, after all this time STILL makes me cringe. Having said that, i realize that some women sail through them with little problem. But in my book, the less unecessary invasive procedures, the better. Hollis <<IC 'can' cause pelvic pain...but if you don't seem to have a lot of 'bladder' problems, I would not rush into a cystoscopy, that's just me, though. I've had two of them. I've also had two laps for Endo.>> Can you tell me about the cystoscopies? How was your recovery, were you put under, did you have flare ups right after, etc.? Becky Boardwalk for $500? In 2007? Ha!
