Guest guest
If your computer has sound and better yet PowerPoint, you will be able to listen to this presentation on Pudendal Neuropathy. It discusses some of the subjects that many of you have asked before on thiss forum. It describes symptoms and the tests needed to diagnosis PN. It also discusses nerve blocks and physical therapy as one of the first steps towards a cure. The session is 45 minutes long. At the end of this post it describes a podcast and how you can hear this presentation. http://sfweb.sjh-nh.org/sfnet/sfnet.asp Download this SJH Healthy Choices podcast (39.7 MB) or view online as streaming media (MS Producer for Powerpoint). I would highly recommend listening to it if you ever wanted to know anything about this condition. I know many of you had questions about my surgery and this should answer some of them. Better yet, it may help you decide that you DO NOT have this condition, as it discusses vulvodynia and other similar conditions. If you have any questions please email me at time-flies@... http://sfweb.sjh-nh.org/sfnet/sfnet.asp Just click on the Pudendal Neuralgia link, next to Dr. Conway's picture. It should bring you to his presentation. This was a presentation that Dr. Conway gave to his colleagues. And most of you know that Dr. Conway is my doctor and is the doctor who performed my surgery. nne Healthy Choices Podcast Pudendal Neuralgia Dr. Mark Conway Download this SJH Healthy Choices podcast (39.7 MB) or view online as streaming media (MS Producer for Powerpoint). What is a " podcast " ? A podcast is an audio or video recording distributed over the internet that can be downloaded as digital audio files onto your own computer, and then played using an appropriate application. Many people transfer the downloaded audio file from their home computer to an Apple iPod or other portable MP3 player (the word " podcast " is abbreviated from " iPod " and " broadcasting " ) to be enjoyed on the go. But no such extra hardware is necessary, and your computer's own speakers are an excellent way to listen. Dr. Mark Conway is an OB & #8260;GYN and head of the Obstetrics and Gynecology department at St. ph Hospital in Nashua, New Hampshire. Dr. Conway has made multiple trips to Aix in Provence to learn the TIR surgical technique from Dr. Bautrant and to learn Dr. deBisschop's technique for EMG study of the Pudendal nerve (pre-operatively and intra-operatively). Dr. Conway has partnered with Dr. Quesada (an anesthesiologist) and Lynne Assad (a physical therapist) to create the first comprehensive Pudendal Neuralgia treatment center in the country, offering conservative therapies, medication management, EMG studies, a surgical solution to treat Pudendal nerve entrapment as well as comprehensive post-operative care.
