Guest guest
I just want to encourage anybody who hasn't tried good pt to consider trying it and researching your own options. It can be helpful for nerve related and non-nerve related vulvar pain. It has helped me tremendously. I wear jeans. I have sex. I work part-time and have a part-time private practice. I've had recurrent yeast infections which have set me back but I finally saw a nurse practitioner who has rx'd long-term diflucan for me. For me, the most caring and knowledgeable practitioners have not been doctors who were dismissive, impatient, and really didn't know much. My pts and nurse practitioners have been awesome and gotten me much much better. I would LOVE to find an awesome doc at some point, but right now I am so thankful for the nurses and pts who have gotten me well. Even better...the nurse practitioner that I see charges $85 for the initial visit and $45 for follow-ups. After spending thousands of dollars out of pocket for out of network and in-network care it's awesome. Lindsey
