Rhonda told me to use ice because she said that although it tends to constrict at first, it will later open up the blood vessels for better blood flow. It's great that your husband is supportive. If you find a good PT, then you two can work on this together. Since coming home from Chicago, my husband works on me almost everyday. Guest guest
Hi, I agree with Chelle, your PT should absolutely have heard of Rhonda or Prendergast. I went to five PTs before seeing and the difference was beyond words. I highly suggest biting the bullet once and going to see a PT who you know is good. Then you will know the standard for which to strive. There are more than just the three main ones. Where do you live? love, MollyChelle wrote: Melinda, my answers are threaded under yours....;)Melinda Waskow <MFWaskow (AT) yahoo (DOT) com> wrote: >>>>>I am hoping but am not sure my PT is "updated" onpelvic floor work. Guest guest
Hi all, I am in Northern New Jersey and am having trouble finding someone to recommend an excellent PT either here or in NYC. I put a call in to Rhonda to either make an appt with her or get her recommendation for an excellent PT in this area. I am in agony right now. I tried to make an appt with a new gyn and can't get in until February. I have an appt with my usual, not too effective gyn tomorrow and an acupuncture appt next Monday. I know I am taking these steps as quickly as possible but in the meanwhile I am just immersed in pain. I am so frustrated. I am normally a happy, athletic person and now I feel like a shell. Sorry for the venting - I just am having such a hard time. xo Melinda W

Guest guest
Hi all, Thanks for the input re: PT. I have made an appt with a vulvar gyn specialist who recommends BTB in NYC. I am going to see the new doc 1st and then work on a PT plan with him. Thank you for your input about finding the best PT you can. Hopefully someone at BTB can help me. xo Melinda
