Went to Hospice house this afternoon with a friend whose mom was dying.

She died about 15 mins after I got there. Was just there to be with my

buddy, hug him, let him cry on my shoulder.

But it was 3 years ago that my nada passed. This walk with him this

afternoon was through the haunted part of the castle. It stirred up

some of that layer of dust and sent moans of the ghosts of Borderline

Past echoing through the Great Hall.

Very poetic. Doug, those are scary ghosts to be running around. . .

((hugs)) buddy, and keep breathing.

Apparently there is still more for you to process and file away, whether you

were ready for this 'gift' or not. I am sorry for your friend and the memories

the trip stirred up for you.

Hi Doug,

Sorry you experienced that. I'm really proud of you, though, for being there for

your friend. I'm not sure I would have been brave enough to do it. (Or willing

to bear it.)

Hugs,

Fiona
