Guest guest
Hi, Progesterone cream made my VV worse! I avoid it at all cost. I tried testosterone cream and DHEA tablets. That is what helped my testosterone level, energy, and mood. I also take B vitamins and a calcium magnesium supplement. I just recently tried the estradiol and testosterone creame mixed and I don't think at this point in time I need the extra estradiol. I am making an appointment with a doctor that participated in a study that suggested that a high number of vestibulitis/vulvodynia patients had low angrogens. Guest guest
Blueberri, (sorry I can't recall your name) - Are you saying that using the progresterone cream helped your testosterone? Just want to make sure I understand... thanks for your views...it's nice to hear something positive about progesterone. =) Hollis, you're probably right. I would never spend the money to go see Vliet anyway unless I was much worse than I am now. In other frustrating news, started my period today. So my last cycle was over 60 days, and this one that I just finished was 19. Argh. Melinda
Guest guest
Melinda - you posted a response to me about having been tested and being unsure as to whose standards you should believe .I think you have the best standard of all - your own body not functioning well with regard to hormones - as is evidenced by the post below.Your body is not working correctly right now, obviously. Maybe you could take all the standards, find an average standard from them and shoot for that target - with a willing doc. This would include thyroid function as well.Dustyspanishmiss430 wrote: Blueberri, (sorry I can't recall your name) - Are you saying that using the progresterone cream helped your testosterone? Guest guest
I tried Progesterone everywhere! ha ha NEVER AGAIN. It made my vulvar area burn like fire. It made my breast sore. It is not what I needed. I agree with whomever said it on the boards this week. It is different for everyone, you must get tested and do the research. Some of need estrogen, some testosteron, some dhea, some progesterone. If you take the wrong thing for you..you can make things worse. You will definitely know once you start the hormones if its right or wrong!See what's new at AOL.com and Make AOL Your Homepage.
Guest guest
As for the progesterone cream, I'm not sure where you are using it. If you are using it in the vulva area like the other creams, it may react different. I just use it on other parts of my body like my neck, stomach or thighs where there are lots of blood vessels. I was taking a compounded pill before the cream. They've worked the same for me. in IL __________________________________________________
