Guest guest
I just went to my a new NP nurse. She said I should go back on birth control, instead of my natural planning that i have been doing for almost 9 months. But I am struggling with the yeast infections. Doing little okay since off the pill, but not completely. She said to try to the nuvo ring that might work best with my vulvodynia and vestibulitis and as birth control. Is this true? Has anyone tried it before? Can it help or it the same as the pill's reaction of yeast infections? __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Why should ur nurse tell you what you 'should' do. If your body is beginning to heal being off of hormonal and is doing better, isn't that a sign that using it wasn't good for you? Are your yeast infections confirmed by the lab and if so have you had them cultured to identify the strain of yeast you have? After identifying the strain you then need a sensititivities test run on the culture to find what drug would best eliminate YOUR type of yeast. Not all yeast meds cure all strains/types of yeast.Dusty D wrote: I just went to my a new NP nurse.
