Guest guest
Those of you w/high cholesterol and/or taking statin drugs...my whole family except me is on these. Many have had really serious side effects and gone off them. My aunt started taking the supplement Cholestoff (it's a supplement of plant sterols) and her total cholesterol when down 30 points in one month. I think it's worth a try, especially if it can help you avoid statins. After doing lots of reading, I really think high cholesterol is a result of sugar and poor diet. Poor diet leads to inflammation of the arteries, and the body makes cholesterol and sends it to the arteries to soothe it. Cholesterol is not the enemy - but much of what we eat is. Guest guest
Joyce, I get the Cholestoff online but my aunt just buys hers at Rite-Aid or CVS. And she lives in a really rural small town, so you should be able to find it almost anywhere. Melinda
