Zig, AMEN!!! And do I ever hear you! I've had so many tests this year, my Insurance probably has me on some kind of black list or something... My TSH keeps bouncing between 2 to 3.4...on top of that my Free T4 is close to the lowest range and this last set of thyroid tests my T3 was actually flagged as low. My hair has been coming out a lot this past year. I thought when I finally got on a good dose of Estrogen that it would get better, but it hasn't. I'll have my next set of Thyroid tests in a few months and I'm gonna ask my doc to boost me with some T3 & T4. I know too many people who are only on synthroid and they still have thyroid issues. As for the Cholesterol, she wants to watch my diet...and this past year I've been doing better than ever, but recently I've backslidden 'some'. I've been so stressed over all this health 'crap' that I like my comfort food....(chocolate).

I've finally realized, though, that even when I slip back, NOT to give up. You just pick up and keep pressing forward. Has anybody mastered their diet yet????? Oh, one other thing, my doc said she is having good success with using a pharmaceutical grade of Omega 3 fatty acids for cholesterol and tri-glycerides. I'll try to look up those adrenal tests you mentioned...I've had a prolactin test...and it was fine, but I've not had my cortisol tested. The Endocrinologist pretty much blew me off when I mentioned checking my adrenals.
