Guest guest
Dusty, I know the spotting needs to be brought up with my vulvar specialist, I'll be seeing her on Tuesday for my regular visit so I'll bring it up then, but anytime I've brought up things like that (ie irregularity of periods, both length and type of flow), she says I need to go on the pill and I won't have to worry about it anymore. And this is at Dr. 's practice! I can't imagine that any other doctor would tell me anything different. The hormone clinic I went to told me I just need to go on OTC progesterone cream and that will fix all my problems. No thanks. Can you tell I'm a bit skeptical of physicians at this point? Guest guest
I'd have to change docs then. It seems to me if a woman is spotting/bleeding without reason - (no HRT or sudden change in strenght of BC pills - at the very least a biopsy is in order and maybe even a belly button procedure to get a look see inside. I haven't seen a doc yet who HASN'T suggested/done these things for persistent unscheduled bleeding. If it was me bleeding without reason, I'd find another doc.Good luck and keep us posted.Dustyspanishmiss430 wrote: Dusty,I know the spotting needs to be brought up with my vulvar specialist, I'll be seeing her on Tuesday for my regular visit so I'll bring it up then, but anytime I've brought up things like that (ie irregularity of periods, both length and type of flow), she says I need to go on the pill and I won't have to worry about it anymore.
