Guest guest
I'm new to the group and am viewing all the posts out here...after countless visits to the OBGYNS and being misdiagnosed, my doctor consulted w/Dr. Goldstein who says I have a pseudocyst of the clitoris and phimosis of the clitoral hood (whatever that is)..so i am seeing Goldstein next week...would anyone care to share the bad things that they have heard about Goldstein?? Many Thanks.. > > HI all, > I've been lurking for a while and never have time to read all the emails, but just wanted to let you all know that I've been cutting out wheat (among other things) the past few months and the pain during sex has gone down to a 1 - 2 instead of a 4 - 7 like it used to be. And then last night I ate some nan, which is an indian flatbread (oh it was so good) and this morning it felt like an indian sunburn in my vagina with my husband. (about a 5 pain) Like the skin doesn't want to stretch. And so I am wondering if there is a connection. I used to think it was hormones, and I'll get my numbers back for that pretty soon, but it wasn't painful last night (before the nan) at all - like a 0.5 - and this is day 6 of my cycle. Then again I did have half a glass of wine. So thanks Arline for the heads up! > Another thing, I just have to vent, I went to the gyn and mentioned the pain and she completely had no idea what to do or say about it, just ignored it. But she is very helpful with the infertility stuff so that's the direction I'm taking right now. I live in DC but don't want to go to Goldstein, heard some bad things about him. I'm not going to spend a lot of money on this as the pain is only during sex and not so bad I can't deal with it. I just wish I could find a doctor who would validate my complaints, diagnose me with something (I don't care what, just make it known that I am not crazy or a hypochondriac!) and even help me would be a plus. I've got the V book and am still reading it, but it's crazy that the V book is my doctor. Thanks . Money is the big issue with me, I can't even afford the $100 gluten test. *sigh* sorry just had to vent. It's all so complex, to think that gluten could affect your vagina, and maybe even that digestive issues > are connected to bladder and vulvar issues is amazing. And the hormones, with estrogen and testosterone all being part of the picture. All the doctors just focus on their one little field and don't look at the big picture. Plus they give medicines to try to fix the symptom rather than get to the root of the problem, which is harder and takes longer. > Ok ladies (and men if you are there), take care, and thanks for reading if you got this far. Sorry so long. > > > > > --------------------------------- > Everyone is raving about the all-new Yahoo! Mail beta. >
