Guest guest
Carla---When I had acupuncture for spiking pain out my clitoris and labia. I did not usually have the pain until after intercourse.....not usually when I had the needling. I went for 4 months which is really long and didn't have great improvement until 2-3 weeks after I stopped. I did have needles put inside of my vagina and it wasn't as bad as it sounds. Guest guest
--how did your acupuncturist know where to insert the needles? Did you just describe where your pain was, or is he/she a specialist in vulvodynia?
Guest guest
Carla----He was not a specialist in vulvadynia. He was an older Korean Accupuncturist. I described the pain and he tried every way he knew for the pain that I described to him. Finally he reluctantly put needles inside of me. It helped. I haven't had spiking in my labia or clitoris since. It's been over 10 years. I also had a silver dollar sized pain in my pelvic floor and I get a little bit of that if I become constipated but not anything like I had!
