Guest guest
Jeanine----I'm only replying that I had a csection and it wasn't that bad. At first you feel like you guts are going to fall out when you stand up. It got better pretty quickly for me. Good luck! Sandy
Guest guest
Jeanine, The most recent nva newsletter (www.nva.org) had a very in-depth article on vv and childbirth/pregnancy. I HIGHLY recommend you order it and review it with your doc. It basically boiled down to the fact that there are pros and cons with vaginal AND c-section and can be a very personal choice-but there were a lot of statistics and information about the ramifications of either choice. On another note...I have heard physical therapy (which completely cured my vestibulitis in about 7 months and my vulvodynia is almost 100% gone now) is VERY effective for episiotomy scar pain. Check out www.pelvicpainrehab.com that is my pt's web site and she can tell you who might be in your area that is properly trained. Also, a trip to a pt (if it's far away) could be arranged to show your spouse how to do the pt. My husband did the pt on me daily for months and it really helped improve things. Congratulations on your little one. I hope you find the info you need to make a good decision and you have a peaceful mind for the upcoming delivery. I wish you a speedy/easy delivery with #2.
