Guest guest
I have a physical therapy consultation with Varona in South Bend, IN Monday, and I'm not gonna lie, I'm less than optimistic. Thus far, everything I've tried has either done nothing, or made things worse. Nurses have been just universally shitty (I swear, if one more nurse has to make mention of the fact that I've put on weight, I will explode! Having pelvic floor spasms and cramps that're worse with exercise or prolonged standing makes working out consistently a little tricky), and Dr. Saunders at the U of M was so sure she could cure me, but she's been less than supportive, too...ugh. I guess I'm looking for either some kind words, or some sign that this will actually help. Going from just having mild vestibulodynia to vaginismus (which i've actually had an ER doc. mistakenly refer to as vaginitis...i do not smell like fishies, tyvm!) and ever-worsening cramps and spasms...it's been a less than positive experience, lol. Anywho. I'll quit whining I hope everyone's staying warm and feeling better! I'll update with how things went Monday. Beth
Guest guest
Beth, If you're PT is good, then you should be helped...PT has helped me more than anything else! That and topical estrace. And I have lichen planus, which is very serious so don't despair.. Melinda
