When I weaned off Elavil, I had a major "episode" of depression. One day, about 2 weeks after my last pill, I simply could not get myself ready after taking a shower. I couldn't even lift my arm to dry my hair. I laid face down on my bed and felt that I was in the utter depths of existence. Not crying or hysterical, just coma-like. Like I was paralyzed. It was really strange. After that day, it kind of passed and I got better. But yes, it could be that. Becky
