Guest guest
I know, right??? Annie. You're not going to believe this but I watched the boy from brazil with the kid who played the boys from brazil!!!! He was in a play that my friend was doing. Playing that role really messed him up. Because he said he was teased about it and treated weird. It didn't seem to bug her at all that her daughter at around 12 years old was putting stuff together that lead to the conclusion that she's 1/2 percent biologically Hitler the most evil person who ever lived! It's so messed up but it really is funny. Also I was concluding I'm 1/4 Hitler so figure how messed up I was feeling about myself. She succeeded in making me feel like I am an evil person too. My mother's probably the meanest person out of everybody who knows her. It's kind of her claim to fame. She's probably somewhat proud that she is such a monster and I think her reaction shows that. Guest guest
To contribute to this dark humor, my nada has same bday as hitler, my bro same as Nixon, and I'm same as W. I kind of get your nada's smirk of a reaction to you thinking she's hitler's child: I do think they can see their meanness as a badge of honor, like " being the baddest b@#$% on the block " somehow makes them better than everyone else... or, at the very least, not at risk of someone else getting best of them/last word/etc. My nada revels in " letting 'em have it " and gloats over her " victories " (usually at unsuspecting customer service agents over the phone). Since she turned 65, she has added " and I'm a senior citizen!!! " to her tirade. Sometimes I can't control my laughter and she gets that aforementioned smirk. Altho, now I wonder if she's just trying to convince herself she didn't go over the top and just looks for reassurance from the few who will listen to her stories. Guest guest
You're probably right. The sense I get is that sociopaths feel they're the strong wolves. The ones with the courage to be their bad selves and the rest of us are dumb little sheep afraid to be as great (and real) as they are. Seems to be one of the few concepts that makes them feel great. Hitler was famous and strong and no one messed with him for quite a while. How great is that? from the sociopath angle? And if he actually escaped and fooled everyone? All the better! It really is a bizarro world way of seeing things. Sooo glad I am completely severed from that creature. Hopefully I'll be able to forget her more and more.
