....Wow...! I find that both significant and highly disturbing that your mother

wasn't badly insulted or upset over that concept: that there was even a remote

chance that she might be Hitler's child. I think most people would feel

shocked, deeply insulted and appalled if that possibility ( " Guess what? You

might be related to Hitler! " ) was offered for their consideration.

The fact that your mother seemed even slightly pleased at the prospect says

something very disturbing about her character. In my opinion your assessment of

your mother as a sadistic sociopath got a check-mark on the " probably yes " side

of the tally, that day.

I'm guessing that you haven't seen the movie " The Boys from Brazil " ? If not,

I'm thinking you would find it both ironic and relevant to your childhood fear.
