Guest guest
Hi Ladies, Sorry for my silence. I've been traveling. As to what Dr. Ledger offered me........shots that cost $1700 a month and are not covered by insurance (he offered to write a letter to convince the insurance company to pay, but since I'm self employed, when I need to change carriers - it would be highly likely that no one would touch me once they saw that.) Celebrex - which is a sulfa drug. I'm allergic to sulfa drugs. He tried to change my allergy medication, but everything he gave me had me sleeping at my desk. It was all becoming too disruptive for me and I had to take a break. I agree, that I don't like to see these problems attached to a gene. Other doctors have told me that you can be predisposed to diabetes and still not get it. So yes, if they could only figure out why this is happening, maybe I could do something to stop it.
