Guest guest
the police finally took my son to the hospital. he's been talking suicide for a couple of months. The last time I talked to him said that if I didn't leave him alone he was going get a protective order against me. This is his first day in the hospital. I want him to know that i'm here for him. I don't want him to feel alone. Should I leave a message for him to call me or should I wait.
Guest guest
You might ask the staff caring for him. It's my understanding that for the first few days, they prefer the patient not have company or messages. They want to stabilize him with medications and evaluate him to see what comes next. This is probably the first time you've had to deal with such a difficult situation. If it was me, I wouldn't hesitate to ask the experts about what's best for your son's recovery. I'm so sorry you're facing this. > > the police finally took my son to the hospital. he's been talking suicide for a couple of months.
