Guest guest
In my opinion, probiotics are really a good thing to heal the body but I think one is better off to take them in capsule form and not drink milk in order to get them. Kefir is milk with probiotics, yeasts, flavoring, often sugar. The milk is full of antibiotics, bovine growth hormones, 400 proteins, any of which one can be allergic or have serious immune reactions to, other cow hormones, is pasteurized which makes it almost impossible to digest, and so forth. Everybody on this list has health problems. Nobody in my mind should be drinking any kind of milk. (maybe raw goat milk but not even that maybe). Just for information--There is an infant formula called Neocate that is an antiallergic one. It is horribly expensive but it is protein that one has autoimmune attacks from and the proteins in Neocate have been split (treated) so the body cannot react and form antibodies to damage the body. You can also buy it with DHA and ALA. There are also older child formulas. If I were a mother once again (heaven forbid such a thought in more ways than one) I would turn heaven and earth to see that my children never had milk products unless it is a treated thing like Neocate. My new granddaughter never has a tummy pain, colic, or any complaints. From a family with all these food sensitivities, it is a miracle. I'll bet the docs all feed their formula fed children on this product. I guess I think probiotics ought to be taken by capsule and not use Kefir which I think to be very unhealthy even if it has the healthy probiotics in it. We don't have to believe in the marketing attempts that tell us how healthy it is. My opinion.
