Guest guest
Has anyone ever experienced what I refer to as "electrical shocks", fleeting, jabby sharp pains that kinda take ur breath away. Sometimes in vagina, sometimes in anus? My neurologist said it could be nerve healing, it concerns me and was wondering if anyone has had them and had a different explanation fo them. thanksStart the year off right. Guest guest
The shocks are common symptoms of withdrawal of some of the anti-depressants. It is just horrible and I am wondering if my nerves are damaged from all the years of having this thing. I do use lidocaine 5% compounded with crisco and it does numb me for a few hours. My doctor has told me to use it for 2 weeks straight to see if it will mend the nerves. > > > > **************Start the year off right. Guest guest
Yes, I've had those symptoms, especially the jabbing type symptoms and with my situation it's how I knew how damaged the nerves were. I hope for you that it is because the nerves are healing. Kristy ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Looking for last minute shopping deals? Guest guest
Oohh, yes, those are just " lovely " ! I used to get them nearly every day before I started physical therapy. I think mine's at least partially caused by muscle spasms, but I've never had them officially explained to me, though I am intrigued that they could be nerve healing! Mine, at least, are extremely painful, and like to strike when I'm grocery shopping, so I have to stop and catch my breath and spend the rest of the time waddling around the store! Always an adventure, no? Beth > > Has anyone ever experienced what I refer to as " electrical shocks " , > fleeting, jabby sharp pains that kinda take ur breath away. Guest guest
These sensations with the nerves can come and go. I have also had mine come and go, and can get higher in intensity sometimes when I have a real bad flare. And other times I can have them occur for days on end like part of the pubic pain issue I've had for the past 1 year. I hope you get an answer soon to your situation Carolyn. Guest guest
I haven't had " shocks " , but my body jerks at times due to Prozac/Lamital use for 3 years. It usually only happens when I am really tired, and it is more often my arm that moves. I've been off the meds for 3 yrs and rarely get it anymore, but in the first 6 mths after I got off, they were often. I hope you feel better. > > >Has anyone ever experienced what I refer to as " electrical shocks " , > >fleeting, jabby sharp pains that kinda take ur breath away.
