Guest guest Posted January 21, 2008 Report Share Posted January 21, 2008 hi everyone...i was on lyrica for what seemed like forever and the side effects were just too much for me to handle...i was chronically tired and gained so much weight...i was up to 300 mg a day and the neggatives outweighed the possitives so i had to make the decision to stop the lyrica...i was wondering if anyone here is on topomax for nerve pain?? i am just trying to find something else to help with the pain as of right now i am not taking anything and the pain is really starting to get to me again...any help with this would be great! i should also mention that i have tried neurontin with no benefit as well...thanks a lot...kerry Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Did you go slowly with the dosing? I'm gonna start at 50 mg's per night and stay there until I feel like I can go up. I figure I will at least give it a try. Did you notice any improvement at all?
