Is there such a thing as an inverse golden rule…?

Others do unto me as I do to others.

Example: my cats use their long hair to drag litter all over the house because I

think they resent me.

This convoluted conclusion can only come from someone who would do spiteful

things because she resent the target.

Thus…others do to me as I do to others.

Good morning! Hope you all have a good week! Make the best of it for

*your*selves! Be extra kind and nurturing to your hurt soul!

Hugs and positive thoughts,

My NADA is the same way with her cats, who are very affectionate with me because

I am a quiet person who doesn't screech unexpectedly all the time. As a result,

her cats come slinking into my room to hide in the closet or under the bed.

NADA got so jealous that the cats like me that I had to put tuna oil on my mom's

house-shoes. Mom can't smell anything, and it made the cats follow her around.

That's one of my totally pathetic BPD NADA coping tricks.

Thank you Elaine!

The story of placing tuna oil on your nada's slippers so at least her cats would

venture near here made me laugh and healed a bit of my pain.

Lol. Not pathetic. Clever. Those of us who aren't NC all have our tricks to keep

them a little happier, don't we? I usually go with chocolate. It's inexpensive,

easy, and available all over the place.
