Guest guest
Owen got his helmet on Friday and today was our first day of wearing it for extended periods of time, and for sleeping in it. However, I noticed that when I would give him his bottle and sometimes when he was sleeping, that his helmet seemed too big. It fits fine in the forehead and around the ears, but it seems like there is too much room in the back, which allows for it to slide up on him a bit...I can put my finger down into the gap from the top when it is pushed up in back. Is this normal?? I am going to call his ortho tomorrow, but I thought I would ask here also. Owen has a hangar band.... Thanks~ Jen

Guest guest
The same thing happened with my son's starband. It always slipped up when he slept and I could fit my whole hand down the back of it. I thought it was a big problem but the plastic surgeon told me to shut up. I didn't like the fact that it wasn't staying in place when he slept.
