Probably just depends on the person and how they 'handle' or react to the meds. Both meds were created to originally help 'other' conditions (depression & seizures) but both have capability to 'block' pain, though I'd say that doesn't work for everyone. Wild how they make a med to treat one condition and then the side effect helps another condition..... (Pain). I read info stating that putting the two meds together works better than using one alone...so go figure! Seems to be trial and error....
