This is just as hard for older women. Again the 40's perimenopausal women are tossed out to pasture. Just like men that leave them for younger women. We are forgotten about. Women of all ages should be invited to be on this show. This is not just about having children.Women in their 40's want to enjoy sex too, not just women that want to get PG. Who's never won? If you are a single woman in your 20s or 30s who is worried that you may not be able to get married or have children in the future because of your vulvodynia and/or a non-Caucasian women of any age who is willing to be on the show, as soon as possible, send an email to chris@... with the following information: - Name - Age - Ethnicity - Summary of your history with vulvodynia, i.e., When were you diagnosed? How many doctors did you visit before receiving a correct diagnosis? Have any treatments helped you? I hope it goes thru because the last time vulvodynia was mentioned on her show she was so embarrassed and laughed when the Bermans mentioned the subject. She also laughed that there was an organization for members who have vulvodynia. I hope this goes much better. My only thought is that I couldn't respond because I'm not single. I'm not worried about not getting married or getting pregnant. But VV certainly effects my life! Guest guest Posted February 10, 2008 Report Share Posted February 10, 2008 I agree--not to diminish the importance of being able to have sex, etc. but I often feel like the sex/pregnancy issue is focused on too much...for me being in daily agony and pain is much more of an issue than sex or no sex.
